Operating entity. The AlertSentinel product listed on Microsoft AppSource is published by Arrioph Partners (alertsentinel.arrioph.com). References to “WickRoom”, “we”, or “us” in this document refer to Arrioph Partners as the legal operating entity. Governing law: Kingdom of Morocco. Jurisdiction: Casablanca courts.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of AlertSentinel (“the Product”), a SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solution distributed through Microsoft AppSource. By installing or using AlertSentinel, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not install or use the Product.
1. Parties
These Terms are a contract between:
- Arrioph Partners, a company based in Casablanca, Morocco (“we”, “us”, “Provider”); and
- You, the organization (or individual acting on behalf of one) that installs or uses AlertSentinel in a Microsoft 365 tenant (“Customer”).
2. Subscription, purchasing, and billing
AlertSentinel is licensed directly by Arrioph Partners — it is not sold or billed through Microsoft AppSource. AppSource is used only to distribute and install the Product; the commercial relationship (purchase, invoicing, payment, renewal) is between you and Arrioph Partners.
How you purchase a license
- You submit a purchase request at alertsentinel.arrioph.com/purchase with your company and tenant details.
- We issue a proforma invoice for bank transfer, typically within 2 business days.
- You transfer the license fee to the Arrioph Partners bank account named on the proforma invoice.
- Once payment clears, we email your license key, typically within 1 business day of receipt.
- You activate the license key in the Product.
Billing and payment
Pricing is displayed on the purchase page at the time of your request and is fixed per tenant for the license term. Payment is by bank transfer only; we do not process card payments or collect payment details directly. All bank transfer and currency-conversion fees are borne by you, the sender.
Refunds
No refunds are offered once a license has been issued. The 30-day trial described in section 12 exists specifically so you can evaluate AlertSentinel before you buy; we expect that evaluation to happen during the trial, not after purchase. Refunds may be considered at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances (for example, a duplicate payment or an invoicing error), but a change of mind after purchase is not grounds for a refund.
Renewal
Licenses are issued for a fixed term (one year) and do not renew automatically. To renew, submit a new purchase request through the same process described above; we will issue a fresh proforma invoice and license key. If you take no action, your license simply expires at the end of its term (see section 12). You are responsible for initiating a renewal before expiry if you want uninterrupted access. You may also let us know in advance that you do not intend to renew by emailing support@arrioph.com, though this is not required.
3. License grant
Subject to your active subscription and these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use AlertSentinel within the Microsoft 365 tenant(s) covered by your subscription, for the duration of that subscription.
What you may not do
You may not, and may not permit any third party to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Product, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the Product to any third party;
- Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice;
- Use the Product to build a competing product;
- Use the Product in a manner that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of any third party.
4. How the Product operates
AlertSentinel is deployed and runs entirely inside your Microsoft 365 tenant:
- The web parts and the bell notification customizer execute in users’ browsers within your SharePoint Online environment.
- The notification flows run in your Power Automate environment under your licenses.
- All data created or processed by the Product (subscriptions, configuration, error logs) is stored in SharePoint lists within your tenant.
We have no operational role at runtime. We do not host servers, run agents, or process data on your behalf. Our role is limited to providing the Product itself and supporting it (see section 6).
The one exception is licensing: a periodic, anonymous validation check runs from the Product to Arrioph Partners’ licensing service, transmitting only your tenant’s GUID and domain — no user data, no SharePoint content. See our Privacy Policy sections 3 and 15 for full details.
5. No availability SLA
Because the Product runs entirely on your Microsoft 365 infrastructure, its availability is determined by your own tenant’s availability, your Power Automate environment, and Microsoft’s service health - none of which we control.
We do not offer an availability SLA. Any uptime commitments applicable to the underlying services are between you and Microsoft (governed by your Microsoft Customer Agreement and the Microsoft Online Services SLAs).
The Product is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
6. Support
We provide best-effort support through the following channels:
- Email:support@arrioph.com
- Web contact form:https://alertsentinel.arrioph.com/contact
Support commitments
- Response target: within 5 business days (Monday–Friday, Casablanca local time, excluding Moroccan public holidays).
- Scope: product defects, installation guidance, and reasonable usage questions.
- Out of scope: custom development, third-party connector configuration, training, and SharePoint administration tasks unrelated to the Product.
Bug fixes and product updates are delivered through Microsoft AppSource at our discretion. We do not commit to specific fix timelines or feature roadmaps.
7. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining valid Microsoft 365 and Power Automate licenses sufficient for your use of the Product;
- Installing and configuring the Product in your tenant in accordance with our documentation;
- Granting and managing user permissions appropriately;
- Complying with all applicable laws when configuring notifications, including but not limited to employee monitoring laws, data protection laws, and labor laws in your jurisdiction;
- Securing the devices and browser profiles used by your users (see the Privacy Policy section on browser storage).
You acknowledge that AlertSentinel is a notification tool capable of monitoring SharePoint activity. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your configuration of the Product complies with applicable employee privacy and labor law in every jurisdiction where you operate.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE PRODUCT WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
We do not warrant that the Product will meet your specific requirements, integrate with every third-party configuration, or be compatible with every future version of SharePoint, Power Automate, or Microsoft Teams.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Our total aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms - whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise - shall not exceed the fees you actually paid for the Product in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities; loss or corruption of data; or business interruption - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Acceptable use
You may not use the Product:
- For any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- To monitor employees in a manner that violates employment, privacy, or labor laws;
- To send notifications that constitute spam, harassment, or unsolicited communication;
- To process special categories of personal data (e.g., health, biometric, or criminal data under GDPR Article 9) without ensuring you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards;
- In any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair Microsoft 365 services or interfere with other users’ use of those services.
We reserve the right to terminate your license for material breach of this section, without refund.
11. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at https://alertsentinel.arrioph.com/privacy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Term and termination
Trial period
AlertSentinel includes a 30-day trial that starts automatically when the Product is activated in your tenant, with full functionality throughout.
If the trial ends without a purchased license, the Product enters a 7-day grace period: it continues to work at full functionality, but shows a persistent in-product notice that the trial has ended and directs you to purchase.
If the grace period ends without a purchased license, the Product’s features become unavailable — web parts, command bar actions, and the notification bell display a license-activation screen instead of their normal content. A site administrator can enter a purchased license key on that screen to restore access immediately; other users see the same screen but must ask their tenant administrator to activate a license. Notifications already delivered before this point are not affected, and your data (see section 4) is never deleted as a result of an expired trial.
If our license-validation service is temporarily unreachable, the Product does not lock you out — it continues operating in its current trial or licensed state until validation succeeds again. This is a reliability safeguard, not an offline license.
- These Terms take effect when you first activate or install AlertSentinel and continue while your license is active, including the trial and grace period described above.
- You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Product from your tenant App Catalog. If you hold a paid license and do not wish to renew it, no action is required beyond letting it expire at the end of its term (see section 2).
- We may terminate these Terms with 30 days’ notice for any reason, or immediately for material breach of these Terms.
- On termination, your license to use the Product ends. You must uninstall the Product from your tenant App Catalog. Data stored in your tenant (the
AlertSentinel_*SharePoint lists) remains under your control and may be retained, exported, or deleted at your discretion. - Sections 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of liability), 14 (Governing law), and 15 (Miscellaneous) survive termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at https://alertsentinel.arrioph.com/terms.
For material changes (changes that materially reduce your rights or materially increase your obligations), we will give notice through Microsoft AppSource update notes or by email to the administrator of record at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Product after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Casablanca, Morocco, except where mandatory law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise (in which case the mandatory provisions of your local law apply to the extent required).
For customers located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms removes or limits any non-derogable consumer rights you may have under your local law.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the applicable Microsoft Commercial Marketplace terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Product.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a business reorganization or transfer of the Product.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (including failures of Microsoft 365 services).
